The Winnipeg Jets losing streak has reached five games. Ryan Johansen scored both Columbus goals as the Blue Jackets held on for a 2-1 victory over Winnipeg on Saturday night in Ohio. Mark Stuart gave the Jets a chance as he scored a shorthanded with 3:45 remaining in the third period. Winnipeg outshot Columbus 36-27 but the Jets couldn't get a puck past Blue Jackets goaltender Steve Mason until late in the final frame. Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec, making his ninth straight start, stopped 25 shots. The Jets will begin a three-game homestand on Monday when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning at MTS Centre.
