The Colorado Low swept through Southern Manitoba yesterday, but it brought a significant amount of rain before it turned into snow and blowing snow. The rain melted a lot of the existing snow before more snow came down. This might be the first Colorado Low to remove more snow than it added!

All highways throughout Southeastern Manitoba are reporting ice covered or partly ice covered with blowing and drifting snow. None of the highways have been closed dure to driving conditions, and so far, there are no school cancellations. All the streets in town are ice covered and extremely slippery as well.
