Maintenance staff in the Hanover School Division are having one of their more productive summers.
The hot, dry weather has helped them get a lot of painting, repairs and drainage work done.  Staff also completed a number of special projects such as building a grooming room at Niverville Elementary and doing some renovations at the SRSS.  And they re-finished the hardwood floor in the gym at the Steinbach Junior High.
Superintendant John Peters says the floor is 45 years old and needed some work and now it looks like new.  There are still a few things left to do including repairing the roof at the SRSS.  Staff noticed puddles of water collecting on the gym floor so they've called in a crew to fix the leaks.
