Council for the RM of Hanover is trying to keep October's liquor referendum as simple as possible.
Reeve John Driedger says there are many categories of liquor licenses but voters will only be asked one question; whether Hanover should become a wet municipality or remain dry.  Council has already given first and second readings to allow the sale and must now wait for the October 25th referendum before giving third reading.
The result of the referendum will not affect the existing retail sale of liquor in Sarto.
