The Winnipeg Goldeyes have reached the 50 win plateau. Brian Myrow and Wes Long were issued back-to-back bases-loaded walks in the bottom of the seventh inning as Winnipeg beat the Wichita Wingnuts 4-2. Kody Kaiser homered for the Goldeyes who are two games ahead of the St. Paul Saints in the race for first place in the American Baseball Association's North Division. Winnipeg and St. Paul will open a three-game series tonight at Shaw Park.
