Eastman U13 AAA Wildcats split a twinbill with Smitty's

The Eastman Wildcats and Smitty's Terminators played a doubleheader in Landmark on Sunday. Alexa Coulter singled home a pair of runs as part of the Wildcats three-run seventh inning, Eastman defeated Smitty's 7-4 in game one. Coulter allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, struck out three and walked one. Hannah Skrabek, Jaycee Neumann and Kylie Plett came on in relief.  The Wildcats dropped game two 10-7 to Smitty's. Avi Tindall homered for Eastman. The Wildcats have a 3-1 record in the Manitoba Premier Softball League and will play in a tournament in Bismarck this weekend. 


Three wins & a washout for Eastman U15 AAA Wildcats

The Eastman Wildcats played a pair of doubleheaders this past week. Eastman beat the Manitoba Angels twice last Tuesday in Landmark, Lola Kihn tossed a perfect game as Eastman defeated the Manitoba Angels 10-0 in game one. Émilie Carrière hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs during the Wildcats eight-run second inning. Eastman plated six runs in the third highlighted by Gracie Anderson's two-run triple en route to a 10-2 win over the Angels in game two. The Wildcats and Winnipeg Lightning met Sunday in Friedensfeld. Cameron Heppner drove in four runs as Eastman won the opener 12-0. The Wildcats were leading game two 10-7 in the bottom of the extra inning when play was called due to lightning and rain. The game went into the books as a tie. Eastman has a 6-1-1 record in the Manitoba Premier Softball League and are off to Bismarck this weekend. 


4-0 week for Eastman U17 AAA Wildcats

The Eastman Wildcats were perfect last week. The Wildcats beat the Manitoba Angels twice on Tuesday at A.D. Penner Park in Steinbach. Kali Remillard homered as Eastman took the opener 3-1. The Wildcats won the second game 8-2. Abigail Ducharme drilled a two-run homer and Pascale Kihn added a three-run blast during the Wildcats six-run second inning. Eastman faced Smitty's Terminators and the Westman Magic Sunday in Brandon. Annabelle Tétrault allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings and struck out five as the Wildcats blanked the Terminators 5-0. Pascale Kihn collected three hits including a three-run homer as Eastman defeated the Magic 6-4. The Wildcats own a 7-1 record in the Manitoba Premier Softball League and will join the U13 & U15 Eastman teams at a tournament in Bismarck this weekend.
