The Steinbach Fire Department is battling a house fire on Giesbrecht Street near the Donald Street intersection.

Fire trucks were seen heading to the area shortly before 4 P.M. Monday afternoon.

Video footage taken just after 4 showed flames billowing out of the house. Thick smoke has also been drifting into downtown Steinbach causing reduced visibility in some areas.
