The Ste. Anne Co-op gas bar along Highway #12 is expected to open in mid-November. General Manager Jake Hildebrandt says it will be quite the place with a large convenience store including new coffee program and fresh baked goods. Meantime, this is Co-op Week and to celebrate the occasion Ste. Anne Co-op is sending out approximately $1.3 million to its members. Each member will get a cheque worth 10 per cent of their shares. This is above and beyond the annual dividend payout. Hildebrandt says it's no secret Ste. Anne Co-op benefits our local communities. He says they employ 60 people directly and 150 people indirectly.
