It looks like a couple of records are set to fall in the RM of Tache.
Reeve Bill Danylchuk says the municipality is on pace to set a new mark for the number of building permits issued in one year and for total value of these permits.  Danylchuk says new home starts are up 15 per cent over last year with most of the activity taking place in Lorette.  He expects a housing boom in Landmark once the stabilization pond matter gets cleared up.  Danylchuk notes the quality of homes continues to rise each year.
He says weather conditions this summer have played a big role in why there's been so much construction activity and right now the only difficulty is finding enough contractors.
