Bill North, Wayne Giesbrecht, Bruce North and Kevin Giesbrecht of the Carman Golf Club captured the Manitoba Men's Rural Interclub Championship on Monday at the Minnewasta Golf & Country Club in Morden. The Carman foursome finished with a 233 total which was one stroke better than Ken Stadnek, Brett Morton, Richard Thorfardson and Aaron Cockerill of Teulon. Carman won the Manitoba Senior Men's Rural Interclub Championship earlier this month at Minnedosa. Curt Guenther, Doug Yuel, Daryl Braun and Ike Bueckert of Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club finished in eighth place at 249. Tommy Wickman, Tavis Donnelly, Carl Decaire and Richard Muntain of Pinawa finished in 10th place at 255. Mike Tibbs, Henk Denboer, Bobby Wiebe and Richard Wowryk of Pine Ridge won the City Interclub title.
