Canadian Blood Services is facing a challenge keeping up with demands for blood over the summer months.  Leanne Persicke of the Canadian Blood Services says people are busier with vacations and recreation.

Canadian Blood Services is facing a challenge keeping up with demands for blood over the summer months.  Leanne Persicke of the Canadian Blood Services says people are busier with vacations and recreation.  That also means accidents are up and subsequently the demand for blood.  Persicke  says they need all types of blood at this time.  However, they need 'O' negative the most because it can be used by people of all blood types.  There is a blood donor clinic in Steinbach on Thursday.
