Rogers customers across the country today are experiencing interruptions in their voice and data services.

"Our team is working quickly to restore services as soon as possible," Rogers said in a message on its help site this morning. "We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to provide regular updates."
The outage is reportedly affecting customers Canada-wide. The company notes some Fido customers are saying they have also been impacted.

While the outages are primarily centralized in Ontario, Alberta, and BC, many living in southeastern Manitobans are noting similar problems.

According to the website Downdetector, which tracks outages of this nature, devices connected to Rogers began experiencing issues overnight and activity spiked around 7:30 AM this morning at which point nearly 13,000 individuals were reporting service disruptions.

While they have not yet publicized an expected restoration time remains Rogers did provide this update on their website: “In most cases, your services will restore automatically. However, if you’re still having trouble using your services, try rebooting your equipment.”
