Things were getting a little out of hand in Niverville and so council  made some new rules.  And they have to do with fire.  Council passed a by-law Tuesday night that deals with bonfires and outlines what size is allowed in town.  Protective services chair John Funk says they've received numerous complaints about bonfires getting too big and smoke coming in the windows of people's homes.  This by-law gives RCMP the necessary tools to clamp down on out of control fires.  Council will also be working on a fireworks by-law.
