Yesterday at the Steinbach Airport they had an event celebrating aviation in Manitoba. The day was a blast with fly-by, aircraft demonstrations, displays of special aircraft, and food trucks.

People also had the opportunity to go up into an airplane with a pilot and get a 15-minute flight.

Small wooden airplanes were also handed out to children or people interested. The wooden airplanes seemed to be flying very well in comparison to paper airplanes.

It was neat to come across a remote-control airplane next to a life-size airplane with the same design.

Enjoy these photos we took at the event!
