Fall on the Farm had great weather and a large turnout at the Mennonite Heritage Village yesterday. They had a large variety of different activities including tours of the village, sawmill demonstrations, and a pork auction.

There was also entertainment on the Cultures Stage from Island Breeze, Norman Chief Memorial Dancers, McConnell Irish Dancers, and many more talented groups.

Gary Dyck says it was nice to see people having a good time at the event. "You can just see everyone relaxed and it's kind of the last hurrah of the summer."

He said there was a good mix of people who showed up, from newcomers who have never been to MHV before, German-Mennonites getting to know their communities better, as well as people who have been coming for several years.

Dyck is thankful for the many volunteers that helped make this event possible.

"People need this so much, we don't even realize just how much we need it. Just to have everyone out, there's no way that we as nine staff in the office could do this festival with thousands of people coming."
