From the trunk of her car to now 140 Ten Thousand Villages stores in North America. It all started when Edna Ruth Byler brought goods from 3rd world countries to North America and sold the items as a way to help poor women make a decent living.  Darlene Reimer manages the Steinbach store and tells us they're serving up cinnamon buns, made from the recipe of the stores founder, Edna Ruth Byler, she was famous for them.  Meantime, Reimer says it's exciting to see the growth of Ten Thousand Villages, noting even the store in Steinbach has seen tremendous growth.
