The Coordinator of the St. Malo Ski Club says they have only grown since they first started in 2015.

Trish Cure says the club began as part of an initiative by the Friends of St. Malo Park to encourage all season use of the park. She adds they have 7km of classically groomed trails which she says are usually quite busy.

"They're a really easy ski, very kid friendly, there's no big hills," Cure indicates.

"It has grown every year. The first year we started out with 11 members and it's picking up steam since it was a late start, but last year we had over 30 members."

Cure says they also offer ski rentals and notes rentals for kids are free of charge. She encourages anyone that is interested to contact her via the club's Facebook page or by emailing stmaloskiclub@gmail.com.

Cure adds because they are 100 percent volunteer-based, they very much appreciate donations which, new to this year, can be made by e-Transfer by contacting Cure through the club's email address.
