New Bothwell homicide victim believed to be mother of the accused

A man from Winnipeg is suspected of killing his parents and attacking a co-worker at a hospital.

Friends of the victim have reached out to us confirming the deceased at the residence near New Bothwell is Judy Swain.

Judy Swain. Photo credit: Twitter/DirectFarmMBIt is believed that the accused is Swain's son Trevor Farley, 37, and the victim in the home in Winnipeg was the accused's father, Stuart Farley.

Winnipeg Police Services has not released the names of the victims or the accused.

Judy Swain, 73, was involved in market gardening at her home north of New Bothwell called Tri-Pop Farms. Swain was also a past board member of the Steinbach Farmer's Market.
