The black bears presumed responsible for ransacking garbage bins and knocking down bird feeders in the town of Ste. Anne have been captured.

The bear was caught in a trap set up by Manitoba Conservation on a property along road 41 East sometime between 10 PM and 6 AM last night and is the second bear caught in the community this week. A spokesperson for Manitoba Conservation says both animals have been safely relocated to an undisclosed area where there are much less likely to come into contact with humans.
