Hanover School Board veteran, Ron Falk, has announced he will run for another term as trustee this coming October.

“I’m finishing my 26th year and that sounds like an awful long time, but its gone so fast,” comments Falk, “You think, ‘I’ll do it a little while and I’ll move on’, but as you get into it, it’s so enjoyable you just keep being involved.”

As part of his platform, Falk notes that the Provincial Government will likely be implementing changes to the school system in the near future. Having participated in many of the various committees on the board and spending time as both chair and vice chair, Falk says he has seen a lot of different changes come through the school division and would like to continue to walk with the division through the structural shifts he forecasts for the coming year.

Falk concludes: “I just thoroughly enjoy being involved in education. It affects Hanover’s children, parents, and communities and I like to be a part of trying to make it a really great process.”
