The Hanover Tache Junior Hockey League's final four is set.

The Steinbach Huskies, St. Adolphe Hawks and Springfield Xtreme joined the Red River Mudbugs in round two after winning their respective best-of-five opening round playoff series.

The Hawks swept Lorette in three straight ending the Comets reign as league champions. St. Adolphe took the first two games in overtime and then won game three 3-2 thanks to Brett Rey's goal with just 12 seconds left in regulation.

The Xtreme went the distance with the Mitchell Mohawks. Riley Welsh, Garrett Smith, Ethan McDuffe and Trevor Weimer scored power play goals as Springfield downed Mitchell 5-2 in their deciding fifth game Sunday night in Hazelridge. Walker Enns had both goals for the Mohawks.

The Mudbugs had a bye to round two as a result of finishing in first place at the end of the regular season schedule.

The best-of-seven semifinals begin Wednesday as Steinbach hosts Springfield.
