There seems to be non-stop work for crews clearing snow off our roads this winter.

Kevin Medeiros is the operations manager for the R.M. of Ste. Anne.

He says the worst snowdrifts happen in areas where there’s a bit of shelter.

“We run into some areas where the drifting gets too high and we have to bench it,” says Medeiros. “So, luckily we have a good experienced crew where they can fix those areas that are blown in and make it where they are travelable and can handle a little bit of wind.”
