A Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at the Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church Tuesday morning at 10:45. Hanover School Division Superintendent Randy Dueck was asked to place the wreath during the ceremony and says it's a real honour.

“Actually I've never had the opportunity to place a wreath before,” notes Dueck. “And I think it's an honour for anybody to be able to recognize those who have served, those who have gone before us. We live in a very interesting time again as a country and there are people again now making sacrifices and I think this year it's even more poignant with what happened on Parliament Hill (on October 22,2014). So it's a chance to say, we recognize that there are people who are putting their lives on the line for what we value here in Canada.”

Dueck adds it's a public ceremony held by the Steinbach Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion and all are welcome to attend.
