A three-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 52 at Industrial Road around 11:30 Friday morning.

Steinbach RCMP Constable Williams says a green SUV was traveling east-bound into Steinbach and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Industrial Road. He notes the SUV proceeded before it was safe to do so and struck a blue Toyota who was traveling west-bound. The SUV then ricocheted and collided with a van waiting at the stop sign on Industrial Road.

Williams says the drivers of the SUV and car were transported to hospital for precautionary measures. No charges have been laid at this time as the collision is still under investigation. West-bound lanes were closed for about half an hour while crews cleared the scene.
