The Carillon Sultans are one win away from advancing to round two of the Manitoba Junior Baseball League playoffs. Carillon scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and beat the Pembina Valley Orioles 12-11 on Wednesday night at A.D. Penner Park in Steinbach. Myles Hiebert stroked a pair of triples for the Sultans who lead the best-of-five quarterfinal two games to none. Game three goes Friday in Morden. If game four is necessary it will be played Saturday back in Steinbach.
