Students and teachers from St Pierre Collegiate play street hockey to fight Breast Cancer

St Pierre Collegiate had it's third annual Best for the breast street hockey game Thursday afternoon. The game is held to raise money and awareness for the Breast Cancer Foundation. Students and teachers were challenged to raise the most money and those who did, were able to play in the game.

Vice Principal Sandra Gratton says they closed off Hebert Street in front of the School and held the event right on the front steps of their school. Students also had the chance to participate in a silent auction. Gratton's says to date they have raised just about $1600 and hope to raise more after their bake sale next week.

To show their dedication to the cause, one teacher and two students put out the challenge to raise $100 before the game ended and they would shave either their heads or eyebrows. Students and teachers stepped up to the challenge and raised the money minutes before the end of the game.
