People in the town of Ste. Anne could start seeing drainage improvements before the snow flies. It's an ambitious goal, but town council believes work can get started this fall to improve drainage of the corner of Tougas Bay and St. Alphonse. That was one of the big problem areas not only this year, but also in previous years. Deputy Mayor Craig Cumming says council is also working on improving drainage related to Desautel Street and Saint Gerard as well as Vandale street. Council will have to borrow money for these projects.
