An Arctic cold front is moving through southern Manitoba and we can expect reduced visibility on the highway today and tonight.

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement, letting us know that is going to get much colder, very quickly.

Initially, we expected 9 to 13 cm of snow with this weather system.

Now, it looks like snowfall amounts will be closer to 2 to 5 cm.

The temperature will continue to fall throughout the day and overnight with a windchill Sunday night of –35 C.

There is a risk of frostbite and hypothermia for anyone who is not dressed properly for the conditions.
