There is another hat in the ring for Ste. Anne town council.
  Craig Cumming has announced he will be running for re-election.  Cumming says there are many safety issues he'd like to address, many of them involve the community's youth.  He says the youth are the future and need to be better protected.  With Cumming running again there are now 2 candidates for council as Councillor Albert Chaput announced his intentions last month.  And about a month ago Mayor Robert Gosselin decided to retire from politics due to health concerns.  The rest of council has yet to make announcements regarding the election.
Ste. Anne town council consists of 4 councillors and a mayor.
