Sabres Fall to 0-2 in JV Division

The Steinbach Regional Secondary School gave up a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter and three more majors before halftime in a 43-6 loss to the Grant Park Pirates Wednesday in Winnipeg.

The difference in the game was the Pirates dominant running attack.

The lone touchdown for the SRSS came on a pass from quarterback Erik Martens to Cohen Epp.

The Sabres saw their record fall to 0 and 2 in the Winnipeg High School Football League's Junior Varsity Division.

The SRSS will host the Oak Park Raiders as the first game of the football program's 10th season anniversary doubleheader on Thursday, September 26th at 4 p.m. at A.D. Penner Park in Steinbach.
