With snow coming down here in the Southeast this Thursday morning, drivers are reporting worsening road conditions.

According to Manitoba 511, highways north and west of Steinbach are listed as partly snow-covered with slush and reduced visibility in places.

A number of motorists have reached out to SteinbachOnline to back up this information, noting highways are feeling slick and the accumulating slush is making lane changes difficult.

Environment Canada updated the forecast for Thursday morning at 10:13 AM, calling for a total of 5 centimetres of snow. The periods of snow are expected to end around noon. For more information, visit the SteinbachOnline weather page.
