Prepare for an increase in the risk of gettting infected with West Nile Virus.
More virus carrying mosquitoes were found this week in southern Manitoba.
Earlier this month, some turned up in traps in Steinbach, and now some have been found in Carman.  Doctor Susan Roberecki is the deputy chief medical officer of health.  She says human cases of West Nile usually are noticed in early July.  So what can we do to avoid the virus?  Doctor Roberecki says it's pretty simple, avoid mosquito bites, especially between dusk and dawn.
