A male was arrested in La Broquerie Sunday on charges of domestic violence. Steinbach RCMP report they were called to a residence in the community at 6:30 p.m. Following an investigation, a 29-year-old male was charged with domestic assault.

Steinbach RCMP also issued two roadside driver's licence suspensions over the weekend to motorists with a blood-alcohol level above .05.

On Saturday, just after 11:30 p.m., a vehicle was stopped on Loewen Boulevard. A 30-year-old male from Steinbach was tested and then given a 72-hour suspension.

On Sunday, just after 1:30 a.m., a vehicle was pulled over near Steinbach. A 29-year-old male from La Broquerie was tested and handed a 72-hour suspension.
