More volunteers needed as people return to regular activities

With restrictions loosening and more activities returning to the Pat Porter Active Living Centre in Steinbach, more volunteers are needed to help with programming and other areas of the centre.

Executive Director Audrey Harder says they used to have 60 active volunteers prior to the pandemic. Those number dropped significantly during the past couple of years.

As restrictions are lifted and more people feel comfortable returning to their regular activities, Harder says they need more help.

The centre offers a variety of programs and this allows for people to volunteer in areas of interest.
