A kid's perspective on farming.

A local Blumenort School student has decided to get kids excited about farming by showing them what farm life looks like!  Tyson's camera and editing skills and desire to highlight farm life is such good stuff!

Don’t question the weatherman with this forecast! Summer was one for the books in regards to great weather and according to the experts, fall is looking to be great too! We do NOT question the forecast when it’s looking warm! Warm forecast for the fall is very VERY good stuff!

 

 

 

The Terminator in Ile Des Chenes.

Okay...maybe it’s the Terminator blasting a gun, but this robot will be blasting germs like rabies and even coronavirus at the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre. This robot is good stuff!

 

 

New bridge, old trail.

Users of the Crow Wing Trail in St Pierre will have a new bridge to travel on!  Exciting news for walkers, bikers, hikers, wanderers...a new spot to explore is always good stuff!

 

 

 Homecoming for baby Levi!

Great news for the Guenther family!  After 5 months away from home due to pregnancy and birth complications they are making there way home.  Finally family will be able to meet this little warrior!  This?  Is good good stuff.

 

 

Steinbach subbing for Boston?

Not a typical substitution, but a necessary one this pandemic year. Local marathoners running the Boston Marathon virtually in Steinbach allowing spectators to watch the whole race is good stuff!

 

 

 The benefits of being smaller.

Teachers, staff, and students at Steinbach Christian School are excited and thankful being a smaller school.  Students will be able to physically attend classes 5 days a week due to the school's smaller population.  School looking a little more like it used is good stuff!

 

 

 

 Art is BACK for the fall!

Exciting news for local artists.  The Steinbach Arts Council has been working hard all summer long creating policies and adjusting programs to allow for art to continue this fall.  The opportunity to create is good stuff!

 

 

 

The spiders of Stuartburn.

Even if spiders are not your thing, you have to see the intricacy of their webs! Sandra Drewniak, a local Stuartburn resident has taken to sharing photos from her daily walks highlighting the beauty of her neighbourhood. And her spiderweb photo collection is good stuff!

 

 

 

Agape House feels the love.

We sure like to eat BBQ!  Lunch on Main Street sold out again and you raised $1446.00 for Agape House this week!  We've been meeting all summer for BBQ lunches and together we've raised a LOT of money for local organizations!  This is good stuff!

Polly didn’t want a cracker...Polly wanted a ladder! Fire Chief Kelvin Toews spent some quality time with a parrot earlier this week. This rescue is good stuff!

 

 

 

A different way to work out.

Rob Kmet of Ste. Anne pushes trucks for exercise. Yes...you read that right.  He literally pushes trucks for exercise and because pushing a truck is easy, he decided he needed a challenge...by adding people into the truck! Bonus?  He raises money for charity as he does it! Wow!  This is good stuff!
