Ben Bandura of Selkirk is the 2011 Manitoba Mid-Amateur champion. Bandura fired a final round one-over par 72 on Thursday at his home course and finished witha 72-hole total of eight-over par 292. Teale Merkeley of Southwood and third round leader Rob Oliphant of Rossmere were tied for second place one shot back. Bandura, Merkeley and Oliphant will make up Manitoba's Inter-Provincial team at the Canadian Mid-Amateur Golf Championship which will be played September 5th-9th at Coppinwood Golf Club in Uxbridge, Ontario. Curt Guenther of the Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club finished in a tie for 37th place. Guenther was 81 on Thursday and finished at 323.
