Another Fall Food Drive has wrapped up in support of Southeast Helping Hands and Hank Klassen is again astounded by the generosity of those in the community.

"Every year it gets better," Klassen said with a smile. "You figure it can't get any better and the next year it does. We've had so much stuff come in. We don't know where we're going to put it all but we'll figure it out. It's just unreal."

Youth groups going door to door also really help the food bank, according to Klassen. "The church youth are the ones who make it all tick. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are. They have fun, it's an outing for them. They were just let loose and bouncing around (with excitement to help), they are something else."

Klassen also heaped praise on the businesses that supported the two-day food drive. "Without them, we wouldn't be. We've done fundraisers in the past and it helped us get a walk-in freezer. Without the local businesses, we wouldn't have had the funding for it."
