| Our Member of Parliament is working on new legislation regarding parole. Vic Toews says there should be no such thing as automatic parole. Rather, he feels inmates should have to earn the privilege by demonstrating they are no longer a risk to society. Toews also wants better monitoring of parolees to improve safety for citizens. He plans to introduce the legislation this fall. |
