A $60 million canola crushing plant is coming to southeastern Manitoba.
Businessman and investor Harold Trapp says the facility will be built in the RM of La Broquerie.  The exact location will be announced in a few weeks.  He explains La Broquerie is very aggressive at attracting businesses and has a good attitude about growth.  There is also a main rail line that passes through which will be used to ship the oil once processed.  The plant will employ 50 to 60 full time people and create canola oil which will be used for biodiesel production.
