Halloween is coming up and that means it’s time to dress up and head on down to some Halloween parties. Here are some of the Halloween parties taking place in Steinbach and the surrounding area this year. 

 

Trunk or Treat - Saturday, October 22 

Phoenix Cheer is having a "Trunk or Treat" event from 4:00PM-6:30PM in the Cheer Parking lot at 549 Traverse Road, Ste Anne.  

Get your costumes come out and get some candy. There will also be hot dogs, chips, and drinks for sale.  

  

CG Open Road's Halloween Party - Saturday, October 22 

Come on down to CG Open Road Outlet (HWY 12 North in Steinbach). There will be free lunch while supplies last, bouncy castles and a coloring contest for kids as well as a grand prize draw for an electric scooter. Don't forget about a costume contest and treat bags for the kiddos as well! Everyone is welcome! Plus, Adam Bighill will be on location from 1:00PM-3:30PM signing autographs

 

Halloween Costume Dance - Friday, October 28 

Pat Porter is holding a Halloween Costume Dance starting at 7:00PM. There will be a performance by The Fraser River Band and they will also have Late Lunch Cold Plate and prizes. Call ahead of time to reserve your tickets. 

 

Halloween Trick or Treat - Friday, October 28 

Halloween at Clearspring Centre is from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Dress up and trick or treat in the mall. 
Trick or treating will start at the North Entrance (near Dollarama) where the first 100 kids will get a treat basket. 
 
They will have a bouncy ride in the mall in front of Reitmans/Warehouse One for kids to enjoy from 5:00PM-8:00PM.

Richer Young at Hearts Club Kids Halloween Party - Saturday, October 29 

Richer Recreation Committee is hosting the Richer Young at Hearts Club Kids Halloween Party From 2:00PM-4:00PM. There will be costume judging so you can dress up and win prizes. There will also be treat bags and games. Entry is free. 

  

Richer Young at Hearts Club Halloween Social - Saturday, October 29 

Richer Recreation Committee and the Richer Fire Department are hosting the Richer Young at Hearts Club Halloween Social from 9:00PM-1:00AM. There will be costume judging, 50/50 draw, lunch served, and a DJ. Funds raised will go towards the Richer Community Club and the Richer Daycare.  

 

Halloween Costume Party - Saturday & Sunday, October 29 & 30

Steinbach Bowling Alley & Bistro is throwing the Halloween Costume Party. Come and play in your best Halloween attire and win prizes for the best group in costume. Plus, win a treat for every strike. Judging criteria will be posted on their website. To reserve your spot, call 204 326 3932.

 

Lil' Boo Bash - Sunday, October 30  

'Lil Steps Wellness Farm is hosting a Lil' Boo Bash in St. Malo from 2:00PM-7:00PM. Visit their Lil' Haunted House, wear a costume, and pet the animals. There will be music by the Whiskey Saints.  

Adults $10. Kids 4yrs and up $5.  

 

Halloween Barbeque - Monday October 31

The Springfield Police are hosting the second annual Halloween barbeque at Springfield Police Service on Halloween at 686 Main Street in Oakbank. The grill will be running from 4:00PM-8:00PM to cook up some hot dogs. There will be draw prizes, "MYOS's" (Make Your Own S'mores), and more! Plus, Buzz and Boomer will be there from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm!

You can also bring a non-perishable food donation for the Christmas Food Hamper.

 

Scare with the Mayor! Haunted House - Monday October 31

Join Ritchot Mayor Chris Ewen in this spooky spectacle for Halloween night. Venture into the haunted forest, haunted pumpkin patch, and brave the spirits of the grave yard! Can you make it to the candy prize at the end? Children's Maze: 11:00AM-3:00PM. Regular Event: 5:00PM-9:00PM. Free admission.

 

Terror on 12 Scream Park - October weekends 

Open 7:00PM-11:00PM, Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays. Located 1 mile south of Anola on Hwy 12. Dare to journey across the Haunted Estate. If you're lucky.. you'll make it all the way through the horror theme park, then warm up by the fire, have a coffee or hot chocolate and hot food. Every night is a new and different experience, so bring friends (you have a better chance of survival in groups) tickets available at the entrance.
