The Steinbach Huskies are one win away from advancing to the Carillon Senior Hockey League final for the third year in a row and the La Broquerie Habs have avoided elimination.

Huskies 5 Wild 2
Jamieson Krentz scored a pair of goals for the second straight playoff game and Tanner Harms had a goal and three assists as Steinbach defeated Red River 5-2 Friday night at the T.G. Smith Centre. Kyle Isenor and Taylor Friesen also scored for the Huskies who lead the best-of-seven semifinal three games to none. Ryan Dyck and Clint Lucier replied for the Wild. Game four goes Sunday (3 p.m.) in St. Jean.

Habs 5 Aces 4
La Broquerie rallied from a 4-1 deficit and beat the Aces 5-4. Colin Baudry scored his second goal of the game on the power play with 4:18 left in the third period to tie game four at 4-4 and Paul Gauthier completed the comeback scoring a shorthanded goal with 70 seconds remaining. Kevin Vandewater and Patrick Gauthier also scored for the hometown Habs. Brad Johnston had a pair of goals for Ste. Anne. Jesse Mitchell and Steph Pattyn also scored for the Aces who saw their series lead cut to three games to one. Game five goes Sunday (2:30 p.m.) in Ste. Anne.
