The 2021-22 Manitoba Junior Hockey League season will begin three months from today.

MJHL Commissioner Kevin Saurette announced that the regular season schedule will start September 17th.

Opening weekend will feature six home and home divisional matchups taking place over the course of the weekend involving all 12 teams.

The past two seasons were affected by COVID-19.

The 2019-20 campaign was cancelled shortly after the Steinbach Pistons eliminated the Winnipeg Blues in round one of the playoffs.

The 2020-21 season was paused on November 12th and then cancelled on February 12th.
