RCMP have released information regarding a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon on the Trans-Canada highway at Provincial Road 206, south of Oakbank.

Police say one of the vehicles proceeded onto Highway #1 when it was unsafe to do so, leading to a t-bone collision. They add an 82-year-old male driver from Steinbach sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital. The 60-year-old female driver of the other vehicle and her 72-year-old passenger, both from Marchand, were also injured and taken to hospital.

The collision remains under investigation by the St. Pierre detachment and charges are pending.
