The Church of God Restoration in the Rural Municipality of Hanover has received another two tickets for COVID-19 infractions.

The province Tuesday announced that a total of 17 tickets were issued across Manitoba last week.

There were two tickets worth $5,000 each, with both of those going to The Church of God Restoration.

Another seven tickets worth $298 each were handed to individuals for failing to wear a mask in an indoor public place.

The other eight tickets, worth $1,296 each were given to individuals for various offences. Seven of those eight tickets were in relation to gatherings in private residences or outdoors.

According to Tobias Tissen's Facebook page, several members of The Church of God Restoration were handed individual tickets last week.

Since enforcement efforts began in April 2020, a total of 3,302 warnings and 1,009 tickets have been issued, resulting in more than $1.3 million in fines to businesses and individuals.
