The CN Rail crossing is closed, now it's time for Fournier Street in La Broquerie to follow.  Council passed first reading of a bylaw to make the closure official. CAO Larry Tetrault says the now closed Fournier Street doesn't appear to be much of an inconvenience to residents. There have been no complaints since the barricades went up last fall. In fact, people are quite excited to see the nice new paved Gauthier street that is now the alternate route. A Public hearing will take place at their next regular meeting on June 28 for the public to respond to the closure.
