Cornish arrested, had been on Manitoba RCMP's Most Wanted List

Manitoba RCMP say they have arrested January Cornish.

The 41-year-old had been on Manitoba RCMP's Most Wanted List. As of last week, police believed she was hiding in either the Steinbach or St. Pierre areas.

Cornish was wanted for assaulting a peace officer as well as various other offences including flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operation while prohibited, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a release order.

RCMP are not releasing details of her arrest or where she was located. However, police would like to thank the public for its assistance.
