Police have arrested two individuals in relation to a drug bust in the RM of Ste. Anne on Thursday.

Steinbach RCMP working alongside the General Investigation Section (GIS Unit) executed a search warrant on a home along Dawson Road near Richer. During their search, members found and seized multiple kinds of street drugs, including cocaine, as well as 725,000 contraband cigarettes and over $40,000 in cash.

As a result of this investigation, a 39-year-old male and a 62-year-old female were arrested. RCMP say charges are pending.
