A car and semi truck collision Friday evening sent two drivers to hospital. Around 6:30 p.m. a southbound car collided with a northbound semi on Highway #59 just north of Highway #52.  The semi truck left the road, travelled through the ditch and stopped in a field.  It then burst into flames.  The cab was destroyed but the trailer was still intact.  Both drivers were transported to hospital.  The driver of the semi was relased later that evening while the other driver remained in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  RCMP are still investigating the collision but says alcohol was not a factor.
