Council for the R.M. of Hanover would like to improve a pair of streets in the rural municipality.
Reeve Stan Toews tells us they have given first reading to local improvement plans for New Bothwell and Blumenort.  If approved, they will be paving Sheila Drive in New Bothwell at a cost of $73,000.  About $48,000 of that would be borrowed.  The other paving project would be in Blumenort where Oakdale Drive would be touched-up for $180,000.  $65,000 of that would be borrowed.  Toews says the rest of these costs would be paid through reserve funds.  He would like to see these projects completed yet this year but he says a lot will depend on weather and the availability of contractors.
