Some town kids in Niverville are going to get bussed to school from now on.
About 40 students on Edelweiss Crescent will be riding the bus starting in fall.  Parents asked the Hanover School Division if their children could get on the bus because they have to walk a long way to the elementary school and cross some busy intersections.  Deputy Mayor John Funk says the division has agreed and now the town is working on creating a walkway for them because they will have to cross a bit of field to get to their bus stop on 6th Avenue.  Council has to work out a few things with a landowner who's going to allow the students to walk across his yard but the goal is to have everything in place for the start of school.
